Designed for straight-stitching, the BERNINA Patchwork Foot #57 differs from #37 only in that it has a built-in seam guide along it's right edge. It's especially ideal for sewing ¼” (approx. 6 mm) seam allowances. Three evenly spaced markings (also ¼” apart) on its side take the guesswork out of cornering and the narrow groove under the flat sole serves enables smoother piecing.
